Titan's 60/80 grit borazon grinding pins use GE CBN 570 and allow more material to be removed per pass, great for roughing work. We find no proven advantage to carbide shanks, all shanks are hardened and center less ground to .0005" Concentricity and a tolerance of + .0000" - .0002". A choice of 2 shank diameters: 1/4" and 3/8", means an easy size to chuck in any machine, plus rigidity for long life.
All standard shanks are hardened to 42-55 Hrc. and are center-less ground to ensure a rigid, accurate, concentric and parallel pin blank.
